O ye assembly of Jinns and men! If it be ye can pass beyond the zones of the heavens and the earth, pass ye! not without authority shall ye be able to pass!

Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?

On you will be sent (O ye evil ones twain!) a flame of fire (to burn) and a smoke (to choke): no defence will ye have:

Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?

When the sky is rent asunder, and it becomes red like

ointment:

Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?

Sebuah Jingga

apakah yang membuat bahagia?

matahari itu juga, panas yang sama

detik-detik yang berbaris di dalamnya

ah! begitu cepat musim menjadi lupa

saat awan-awan putih menyingkir

tatap langit membuat kita begitu terkucil

saat gerimis berjajar

dan sepi menggigil di tengah latar

apakah yang membuat kita bahagia?

biru yang lama

geliat angin yang berjungkit di pucuk cemara

noktah yang serupa

kepak gagak yang mengimbuh muram cakrawala

bahkan jelma kata-kata doa

terbantun kembali seperti gema

atau barangkali hanya butuh sebuah jingga

dengan siluet gadis menari di sampulnya?

saat senja menggamit nada

ada yang bersinggungan, suara, suara
